On the study for a day for free at SAE Dubai

Last Saturday I attended the study 4 a day 4 free at the SAE at the Knowledge Village in Dubai, I think it’s a really good idea to promote the institute and get students to enroll and study there. I’ve always admired the SAE for being a great educational organizations that specializes in filmmaking, audio engineering, and design.

Basically you spend couple of hours at the campus exploring the facilities and listening to a lecture by an instructor in the field you picked, I chose filmmaking as it really interests me, the instructor Markus Rosentreter was really good. The nice part is the hands-on training you get, I’m not saying I’m a filmmaker now but I got few good insights about light and camera, and also both the After Effect and Final Cut Pro software.

After going through the light and camera setup we moved to shooting then to editing on the software, the whole process of making a movie, of course this was accompanied by information related to the whole thing, after we finished we watched some 3D then had some food and drinks.

It was a nice experience and I’m planning to attend an After Effect course hopefully soon.
