RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Project management:
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities. Arrange and attends meetings with VIP clients to gather more business and projects. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client. Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards. Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures. Minimizes exposure and risk on project. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
– Financial management:
Provide recommendations regarding investments and cash strategies. Oversee preparation of annual budget, regular variance statements and annual audit. Provide vision regarding overall financial health of the company. Provide vision and leadership in long – Range fiscal planning to ensure the continuity and solvency of the company. Provide recommendations regarding effective utilization of long and short term debt, including refinancing and purchasing/sales.
– Production/QC:
Evaluating the company’s product specifications and examining them with customer requirements. Setting quality assurance compliance objectives to achieve the targets. Promoting performance improvement and quality assurance programs throughout the organization. Maintaining and setting up documentation and control procedures. Monitoring performance by collecting relevant information and preparing statistical reports. Ensuring and setting standards of service within the company through out.
– Administrative management:
Ensure client and vendor file integrity (documents, analytical information where required, communication notations, etc.). Maintain general oversight and insure accuracy of records including A/R, A/P, Inventory, etc. Assist in development of forms and tools to increase company efficiency and risk management.
– Maximise sales and increase profitability through Jacob Sardini’s company policy point of sales and merchandising standards, improved product availability, correct product mix, exceptional customer service and manpower planning. Controlling all costs through implementing measures to reduce damages, stock losses and sales operating expenses. Drive sales through own displayed performance of selling skills interacting with customers and closing sales. Accountable for all cost, measures and controls to reduce damages, stock losses and all operating expenses.
– Ensure effective communication within the store by conducting weekly management meetings to discuss financial progress of the store in addition to all other relevant and necessary store information which in turn should be cascaded down the ranks by department heads in frequent departmental meetings or daily briefings. Monitoring and maintaining the correct use of the general store notice board with the flow of all relevant current or future store/company information.
-To be involved in the recruitment of all sales related personnel and accountable for departmental performance management and manpower turnover by conducting employee appraisals in line with company policy and procedure, instigating coaching and counselling where applicable, instigating any necessary departmental disciplinary measures as per the company policy and procedure.
– Ensure all relevant company and departmental policies and procedures are known, understood and adhered to by maintaining consistent checks and visibility on the sales floor, being proactive in implementing open two way communication and taking the necessary action where these are not being met.
