Canon hires d'pr to handle MENA communications

Canon ME, the Middle East office of the world’s leading imaging, printing and business technology provider, has hired local agency d’pr as its Middle East and North Africa (MENA) public relations partner.

Canon ME Marketing Manager Hendrik Verbrugghe said d’pr was chosen from the five-way pitch for its strong corporate and consumer experience as well as proven creative thinking and innovative approach to PR.

d’pr will manage the Middle Eastern, Levantine and Maghreb communications for Canon’s business solutions and consumer imaging divisions. In addition to achieving greater awareness of Canon’s photographic, imaging and printing technologies, the PR programme will also support regional Canon channel partners and sales offices.

Marking yet another international client win for the three-year-old agency, the appointment also signals the growth of d’pr’s technology practice and regional reach.
