After opening offices in Casablanca, Shanghai and Sao Paulo, Parisian design agency centdegrés has just opened a new branch in the UAE – in Dubai, to support local brands as well as international companies in boosting their creative and development work within a particularly dynamic local and regional market. Since 1988, centdegrés has been creating value for top international brands like HERMES, GAULTIER, CLARINS, LANCOME, DIOR, LANVIN, HERBORIST and others through marketing and distribution strategy, the creation of a visual identity, product packaging and design, category management, merchandising, architecture and digital applications.
Centdegrés was established in Dubai in October 2011 and is managed by Julie Deltour as Business Development Manager. The opening of Xentdegrés is fully in line with the Agency’s international development strategy; a strategy that is self-evident in a region where investment is so dynamic. “We believe in the UAE’s potential and in the role they can play as a springboard into neighbouring countries,” Julie DELTOUR tells us. “We aim at both the many international companies established within the area and the local brands. Our greatest projects happen with the latter, for which we often start out with nothing and support them in their international development, providing them with our know-how in the creation of premium and luxury brands.”
Centdegrés is a style builder: it analyses the entire range of signs expressed by a brand in order to structure the public perception as well as its uniqueness, its staying power and its desirability, while staying faithful to its meaning, its values and its culture, projecting it into a future perspective. This is also about value creation, for the ultimate goal is to improve its customers’ profitability.

In Dubai, Centdegrés wishes to implement its entire expertise. The agency is already working on store layout projects – a field in which it holds significant references. It is currently working for the mythical KICKERS brand of footwear, developing sales location in a host of countries, including the flagship store in Paris.
Ever since it was founded, the agency has built a large part of its reputation by designing numerous bottles for the greatest names in perfume: Givenchy, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Paco Rabanne, to name but a few. In Dubai, centdegrés is already hard at work with CHANEL Group’s BOURJOIS brand, as well as with RASASI, a major player in the Middle East perfume sector. At the Beauty World tradeshow, to be held there from next May 29th to 31st, the Agency will also introduce the bottle it has just designed for Avant-Garde, the new masculine perfume by Lanvin. Its curved lines obeying a fundamental simplicity wholly embody the brand’s chic, refined and contemporary style. Its pebble shape allows a peek at the liquid within through a window of an intense blue colour, interspersed with metallic reflections and impeccably cut.
Here is an object that is powerful and basic, a bottle one recognises and does not forget, and the very essence of centdegrés’ know-how in this sector where it excels.

Centdegrés will be showcasing its entire range of business in booth S2 H030 at the Trade Centre Arena Hall, Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
