The Role
My client are a multinational publishing company and they currently have a requirement for a content development co-ordinator to be based in their Bahrain office
The Content Development Coordinator (CDC) will be responsible for developing and managing all content for print and on-line products, both new and existing.
The CDC defines the product position, coordinates and delivers relevant content.
Working closely with Sales and Marketing, the CDC will provide product development support with the view to achieving Sales targets and Marketing vision for the effective delivery of the product.
The CDC ensures each product, whether new or existing, is aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
In conjunction with Sales and Marketing, will help to conceive new product ideas based on market experience, research and needs assessment.
The candidate must possess a solid mix of business and technical knowledge. The CDC must have a strong understanding of current media trends and the ability to respond to changing needs.
Key Responsibilities include:
Identifies market requirements for product(s) being managed by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to prospective customers, users and stakeholders
Analyzes potential partner relationships for the product(s): seeking alliances from key industry bodies for product promotion and positioning
Defines the Product Strategy and Roadmap
Product development : Manage print and online offering, improve the overall look and feel of existing products
Finalize product schedule (establishes the complete production schedule for products handled) to ensure timely delivery of product
Candidate Requirements:
Technical knowledge of publishing and printing operations
Previous experience in managing print and on-line publications
Proven experience in Product Management discipline
