What are my responsibilities?
* Responsible for the proposal of the respective Engineering discipline
* Support country sales during pre-acquisition (technical sales), increase local technical competencies to limit required support and involvement of Centre of Technologies (CoT’s) and further Headquarter functions to special requests
* Support scope extension strategy ("back to turnkey" where feasible) by increasing transparency on major gaps to competition/ consortium partner cost level
* Screen local supply market together with local Supply Chain Management; share relevant findings with SPR and Engineering CoTs (responsible for the qualification of potential sub-suppliers); support the CoTs in the qualification process
* Analyze customer specification, find optimized solutions and minimize risks in order to prepare a competitive bid based on proven concepts
* Plan, schedule and conduct proposal engineering tasks
* Define scope; prepare costs for the offered scope
* Prepare clarifications and deviations to customer specification
* Give input to and check project execution schedule
* Review all costs, risks and technical concepts within own engineering discipline
* Prepare LoA process and cost/ risk-meetings according to valid processes
* Support to improve the quality of the proposals and efficiency of the overall proposal process
