An Exhibitions Coordinator is needed to coordinate and fit out several strands of exhibition design and fit out in existing and new buildings, Historical Exhibitions in Heritage Visitor Centre and galleries. And Contemporary Exhibitions in Courtyards, external areas, Parkland and in the Urban Realm.
The Exhibitions Coordinator and Designer will work alongside the exhibitions director, in Abu Dhabi as well as a site wide team leader and component design team in London and Abu Dhabi to help coordinate exhibition design, scope of work, concept design, design development, detailing, procurement and exhibition fit out.
Coordination will primarily with the interpretive brief and architecture but would include landscape, engineering, cost consultancy and programme management. Experience of at least five years working in a gallery, museum or exhibition design is required, as well as participation at a senior level in teams that have coordinated and delivered known exhibitions. Good management and communications skills are required and proven ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams.
Ideally the position will be located in Abu Dhabi, however for a period candidates unable to relocate in the near future would be considered for working from a London Office.
Skills
