- Planning and implementing Corporate IT policies, backup and disaster recovery plans.
• Setting short and long term IT goals and aligning them with corporate objectives, IT forecasts and budgets
• Implementing, monitoring and maintaining network security and performance, installing, configuring & maintaining network equipment & devices (LAN/WAN, Routers, Switches and Firewalls, VPNs)
• Implementation and support of Systems Infrastructure (Servers, Operating Systems, Backup)
• IT Operation (new setups, modifications, upgrades and implementations)
•Managing and supervising the IT infrastructure and operations at Company’s HO, parlors and regional sub-offices and branch outlets
•Managing the Help Desk and support teams to provide support to internal users and to meet the requirement of the SLAs
•Planning and implementing IT security, system policies and conduct risk analysis for I.T infrastructure projects catering company’s current and future needs
• Liaising with various vendors and service providers for maintenance contracts, repairs and technical support on their various products & equipment
• Liaising with Business Operation on their requirements & provide technical consultancy, product awareness and demonstrations, trial or test installations of products and applications
• Implementing, managing, maintaining and supporting the Oracle E-Business Suite application, POS Application and POS H/W
• Keeping a watch on asset movements for ensuring software / hardware assets are within control
