Deals with Senior Producers, Preditors, Editors, Broadcast & Facility Co-ordinators, Creative Director, Broadcast Graphics Designers, Copy Writers, Voice Over Talent, Sound Engineers, Library department

Conceptualizes, plans, writes, edits, and produces on-air promotions for the applicable channels on the Orbit Platform. This includes station and programme promotion and other related promotional content.

• Write and produce on-air promo specifics and produce/edit interstitial material for the channel or the network
• To operate non-linear edit suites (Avid) hands-on for independent editing of promotions-when required
• Responsible for editing mini-programmes where required and producing required packaging / promotions of individual shows
• Other related duties and responsibilities, as required

Requirements
• Organisation, coordination and time management skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Able to work out of own initiative
• Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines

• Basic knowledge of communication principles, media and marketing techniques on how to attract an audience to a particular programme or network
• Knowledge of broadcast video and audio post production applications and procedures
• Knowledge of the region and its cultural environment

• University Graduate- ideally in the TV-Film or Mass Communications fields
