The Role

An excellent opportunity has become available for an accomplished events professional to join a thriving Marketing and Events organisation with a growing and successful team. Ideally with experience gained at an events agency, the successful candidate will manage the implementation and execution of an exciting range of events – from award ceremonies to prestigious gala dinners and conferences. Experience of managing overseas events would be advantageous.

As the Events Manager, you will advise the events team on strategy for company events ensuring effective and efficient delivery, whilst maintaining the quality and standards required. You will provide and own end-to-end event management solutions from sourcing, selecting and securing multiple venues to managing and selecting catering requirements, as well as manage all technical support and sponsor requirements. Additionally as part of your remit, you will manage all third party suppliers and negotiations, you will also capture and record feedback, make recommendations for improvement with the aim of delivering outstanding events and customer service.

In addition to the above core duties the Events Manager is key to driving and growing the Events Division. This includes managing an existing client base together with securing new business to maximise revenue. You will carry out presentations to potential and prospective clients, manage enquiries, bookings, prepare reports and maintain account files. You will also organise client visits and show rounds.
