As a Graphic Designer you will be responsible for creating artwork layouts and visual design materials to support overall marketing objectives with a high degree of visual aesthetic. You have a degree or diploma in graphic design with work experience in a graphic design role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Produce graphic art and visual material layouts for print, advertising, web, point of sale etc. that meet the marketing objectives for each brand
· Develop creative strategies and high level concepts in support of the strategies
· Create design solutions for specific problems, assuring that aesthetics are in line with group approved guidelines
· Collaborate with marketing team to create a consistent look and feel in marketing collateral for all Premier Salons brands
· Be knowledgeable in current design software programs and computer techniques. Advanced skills in QuarkXpress VII, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash and InDesign
· Manage design projects from concept through production to pre-press
· Produce and adapt design ideas quickly
· Participate in concept development and design ideation for visual designs
· Be familiar with various printing and design options to keep printing costs to a minimum
· Inspire marketing team with design vision and planning
· Develop mockups and storyboards for marketing plan presentations
· Obtain and maintain image files from various sources including vendors, image banks, store groups etc.
· Work with printers to provide creative files that satisfy the printing requirements of the vendor to ensure no additional fees are incurred to set up print jobs
· Source creative options, ideas for potential marketing pieces
· Coordinate or assist with printing collateral as required
· Proofread all content of marketing materials to help ensure accuracy
· Keep abreast of developments in design programs
· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing assigned tasks as needed
· Miscellaneous design layouts and in-house projects as they arise
