Summary
Ibrahim & Khalid Abu Shaqra & Partners Co. (I&K) is seeking to recruit a Junior Graphic Designer / Outdoor Installation Coordinator to develop artwork that meets specific commercial and promotional needs such as visuals, window displays, and stationery in addition to being responsible for carrying out visual installation and providing evidence of related work in a timely manner.

From the first day on the job, such a role will be given immediate project responsibility with exposure to various brands from the company’s renowned portfolio. It is the training ground for future promotional opportunities at I&K.

Primary Responsibilities
• Develop and create re-sized visuals for various brands’ campaigns according to their brand guidelines and concerned measurements.
• Study the guidelines of various brands before commencing on any new project.
• Keep track of the company’s marketing calendar by conferring with the Marketing Department to receive updates on upcoming product launches, in-store animations, special promotions, advertising, and publicity activities.
• Perform site and store visits to take any necessary missing measurements for upcoming graphic design related tasks.
• Confer with other members of the Marketing Department to discuss and review layouts and provide them with the final files to request approval from the mother companies of the concerned brands.
• Carry out installation procedures for all printed and produced visuals before an assigned deadline.
• Photograph certain marketing activities and all installation activities for visuals once they have been put in place using the company camera.
• Produce corporate related graphic design material such as stationery, business cards, advertisements, and e-mail shots.
• Report any obvious maintenance requirements for installation locations to other members of the Marketing Department.
•Carry out other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
• Hold a Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design.
•Have a portfolio of their previous work in the graphic design field.
• Have 0 – 2 years working experience in the field of graphic design or in a similar industry.
• Possess leadership skills for the need to envision the scope and results of your work, energize and engage your multifunctional team, and enable the team to work together with you to deliver on your expectations.
• Possess interpersonal/collaboration skills to work effectively and be a team player with all employees across the organization to deliver results.
• Possess marketing mastery skills of concept creation, development of communication ideas, and strong understanding of graphic design requirements.

Skills
• Good understanding of written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Computer literate and extremely proficient in all MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) as well as the latest versions of several graphic design programs including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Familiar with business format emails and able to understand feedback from international companies.
• Ready to abide by strict office working days (Saturday – Thursday) and strict office working hours (9:00 AM – 2:00 PM; 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM).
