The Manager – Emaar Malls Group IT Solutions is responsible to design and deploy special IT solutions and Projects in customer facing areas like Loyalty Programmes, Mobile Solutions for Apple – I Phone / Android , Kiosk and POS solutions. These technologies will enable the Business to offer promotions and events to the Shoppers thereby increasing footfall, improve the customer spend and capture their buying behaviour.

We are looking for a specialists who have a flair for Digital Marketing and who are engaged with technology to promote retail business.

The Manager – EMG IT Solutions reports to Director Information Technology.

The Manager – EMG IT Solutions will work in partnership with other technology members, business peers and service providers such as consultants, contractors, marketing agencies, etc for evaluation, procurement, implementing, enhancing and supporting these Customer facing IT solutions.

NEW APPLICATIONS

• Conduct feasibility studies based on user requirements and innovative new technologies

• Research and make recommendations on software products and services to benefit business

• Prepare RFPs / tender documents for the vendors and evaluate the product technology, solution architecture and system functionality and prepare selection recommendations.

• Negotiate contracts with software and service providers.

• Perform solution design, build, configure and deploy new applications / products

• Refine solution architecture to application enhancements and integration with other systems

CUSTOMER FACING APPLICATIONS

• Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions by suggesting online ideas and promo ideas used successfully by the brands. Keep updating Marketing team on new digital ideas and technology like foursquare etc

• Coordinate with marketing to create and maintain the brand presence on social media ( Facebook, Twitter, You tube, blog)

• Coordinate with marketing and promote new items daily on facebook and twitter to drive traffic to stores.

• Usage of tracking tools to measure and optimize; facebook analytics and Google analytics for tracking of the site traffic and work on its optimization.

• Develop and maintain Micro sites for the tactical promotion

• Develop Secret codes to unlock promotional offers for the fans followers on facebook and twitter ( integration of mobile and online technology)

• Develop I-phone or Blackberry gaming apps which the customer can download from the microsite and remain engaged with it

• Develop FB apps for the facebook fans. Track its download and click ratio.

ALICATION SUPPORT

• Ensure that applications meet business requirements and systems goals.

• Meet Service Level Agreement commitments

• Efficient utilization of IT resources – including personnel and equipment

• Plan for capacity enhancements to meet demands and business growth.

• Liaise with various IT teams to take corrective actions on systems issues as well as with vendors for prompt rectification of any problems

• Manage application changes as per the process

• Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications.

• Manage and provide direction for the application team in support of business operations.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Role of Project Manager to manage and deliver IT Solutions

• Define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

• Develops full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.

• Liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

• Estimates the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.

• Tracks project milestones and deliverables.

• Maintain project documents repository

TEAM MANAGEMENT

• Manage financial & manpower budget

• Prioritize and plan tasks to ensure that they are completed within set deadlines.

• Prepare training & leave plans for the team

• Conduct performance appraisal of employees
