Manager –Emaar Malls Group IT Operations | Emaar Group Dubai, UAE

The Manager – EMG IT Operations is responsible for managing the Operations of currently deployed Mall IT systems like Car Parking systems, Pedestrian counting systems, Guest Service desk systems, Kiosk and POS systems and forthcoming IT Systems for Malls Group.

The Manager – EMG IT Operations reports to Director Information Technology.

The Manager – EMG IT Operations will work closely internally with business project managers, Networking teams, Security teams, Retail IT teams, FM teams and Multimedia teams to ensure the availability and stability of the IT systems and with external vendors for procurement and support

Operation Support

• Ensure smooth delivery of IT services to business users

• Meet Service Level Agreement commitments

• Efficient utilization of IT resources – including personnel and equipment

• Optimize operations and enhance system performance

• Liaises with various IT teams to take corrective actions on incidents

• Manage changes in the infrastructure.

• Adhere to the IT policies, processes, procedures and standards and also propagate to IT users

• Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade, and support of IT systems,

• Analyze existing operations and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT systems.

Management

• Manage financial and manpower budget of IT Operations section

• Prioritize and plan team’s and own tasks to ensure that they are completed within set deadlines.

• Delegates work with clear work instructions and provides performance feedback to team members.

• Prepare training and leave plans for the team

• Conduct performance appraisal of employees
