Online Marketing Specialist | Vice Versa International Dubai
Vice Versa International is seeking a person with extensive experience in online marketing. The right candidate will be responsible for Vice Versa’s website and for creating awareness and traffic to the site. One of your key targets will be online card sale (card applications).
The responsibilities include:
• Create and manage an online marketing plan with targets, within our marketing budget
• Re-brand / re-think our online proposition, update and continuously develop our website(s)
• Improve ranking and online content, product information, promotions and news
• Explore and partner with companies sharing same interest / target audience online
• Work with the ambition that any traveler searching on a ‘Vice Versa destination’ (a city where the Vice Versa card is accepted) will meet the brand before arrival.
• Propose and manage our clients own website / card brands as stand-alone projects
Beside your online responsibilities you will also be managing mail shots, e-newsletters and other online / media activities to support the online traffic and overall awareness of our brand(s). As part of the Marketing team you will play an important part at exhibitions, events, international marketing activities, presentations as well as be the prime interface for our technical driven products like SMS and Blue tooth from a marketing / sales point of view
Requirements
To be successful in the role you must be a person in the know of the ‘online world’. You must be proactive and innovative and have an interest in technical functionalities / media as well.
You will be working for targets and your success will be measured on set targets - at the same time you will be dealing with many brands and projects. You will have a sound business understanding and be a team player.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Online Marketing, direct marketing and promotions, and running online marketing programs for end consumers. To be considered you must hold a relevant degree and have worked in a creative / online / marketing environment preferably for travel related companies / clients. Outstanding English written and oral communication skills required
