The Role

Fleishman-Hillard, one of the world’s leading communications firms, has an opportunity for a PR Account Director or an Associate Director interested in supporting the expansion of our operations in the UAE. Our practitioners advise on all aspects of corporate reputation and offer dedicated expertise in media relations and strategy, crisis communications, issues management, and media training.

This role will involve developing our Corporate PR capability, based in the UAE and provide day-to-day management of accounts, help to oversee junior team members and support the Managing Director to drive new business and provide senior counsel to clients. Previous sector experience should include general corporate communications including internal communications, media relations expertise, crisis and issues management, media training. Financial services experience will also be welcomed. Clients including leading global and regional players in the financial, oil & gas, renewable, financial services, technology and healthcare sectors

Requirements

This role involves working with a team of 8 staff across our Abu Dhabi and Dubai offices, servicing key global accounts in the region. Good organisational and research skills and an ability to multi-task are essential. Fluency in English is essential combined with an understanding of the different cultural working practices of the Middle East.

An understanding of digital communications and previous experience of online social networks, marketing, media relations, and/or grassroots outreach is desirable.
