Research Analyst | IDC Middle East & Africa Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

IDC is expanding its global business in the Middle East & Africa region. We are launching a new office to be located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The positions will serve both Saudi Arabian operations as well as support the regional goals and business strategy in the Middle East and Africa region.

Reporting to the Regional Program Manager, this role supports IDC’s rapidly growing business in all areas of IT. We are looking for experienced Analyst in area of Imaging and Hardcopy devices (IHD) and Hardware Markets.

Responsibilities:
- conduct primary and secondary research and data collection in IHD & HW area of ICT market;
- analyze business and market trends;
- work with quantitative market sizing and forecasting analytical tools;
- prepare thorough and well-organized reports;
- contribute to consulting engagements and play a support role in business development.

Skills
- experience as Analyst (analytical position) with excellent written and spoken Arabic and English;
- relevant work experience in research is strongly preferred;
- market research or industry-specific knowledge is a strong plus;
- University degree or equivalent.

Candidate has to be able to demonstrate:
- understanding of the ICT industry in general;
- ability to work independently and collaboratively;
- excellent writing and presentation skills;
- solid phone interview skills;
- proficiency with Excel and other MS Office software packages.
