Senior Web/ Online Editor | Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) UAE

An exciting position has arisen in the Communications Team of Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, a Government entity. The objective of this position is: to write and edit copy for ADTA website output that reinforces the organization objectives, ensuring it is suitable for web audiences, and reaches a consistently high editorial standard.

The position of Senior Web Editor has the following responsibilities:
-To implement and maintain editorial style and tone across ADTA websites
-Write or edit promotional material
-Support the communications team in keeping the press database up to date.
-Manage web users feed back
-Ensuring user-centred approach to web content.
-Subbing and proofreading all online copy.
-Signing off web content from other stakeholders.
-Publishing content to ADTA website using a content management system.
-Making new pages using the CMS, assigning keywords and metadata, adding links and images.
-Formatting and uploading documents and photo editing software.
-Designing and laying out e-newsletters using a template.

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
-Extensive proven experience of writing for websites and other online collateral such as online marketing campaigns
-Excellent general understanding of web technology.

Requirement & Qualifications :
-University degree or equivalent
-Excellent writing and editing skills in English & Arabic
-Good command of the French language
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
