• Responsible for supervising the Studio Technical team ensuring that they achieve the highest industry technical standards.
• Acting as a vital link in the production teams assisting directors and producers (internal & external) and be involved in all stages of the production process to ensure production runs smoothly
• Working in close co-operation with the Manager- Production Operations, Engineering, and the studio team to ensure that TWOFOUR54 clients experience the highest levels of satisfaction.
• Ensuring the technical crew within the studio understand their responsibilities.
• Ensuring the technical quality of the studio output meets the client and TWOFOUR54’s specification.
• Any other reasonable duties required by the management.
Skills
• Relevant experience in professional, medium to large studio production.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to translate client’s requirements into practical solutions
• Ability to work under pressure in a “live to air” environment
• Proficient operation of industry standard vision mixing consoles and effects devices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively and reliable as part of the team.
• Enthusiasm, motivation and a proactive manner
• Ability to remain calm and level-headed under pressure
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, flexibility, common sense and problem-solving skills as unexpected issues may arise regularly.
• Client facing attitude.
Seniority Required
At least 5 years in a TV production environment with at least 2 years in a Vision Mixer/Technical Director role.
Professional Background Required
• Relevant vocational qualifications.
• Experience of working in a commercial multi-client environment.
• Experience of supervising a production operation to the highest levels of service and reliability.
