TV Channel Manager | Dubai, UAE

Location: Dubai
Salary: Excellent package
Reporting to the Group Director of TV, the Channel Manager will agree the strategy and vision for a leading channel.
• Create and update annual, monthly, and daily programming schedules for the TV channel and various distribution outlets
• Compile all necessary fixtures and information for creation and updates of monthly grids
• Ensure schedules abide by network contracts and departmental budgets

Requirements
• High School graduate, college degree preferred – AA or Bachelor’s
• 3-4 years experience in cable and/or broadcast scheduling
• Excellent computer skills, command of the English language, and familiarity with action sports and youth culture genre
• Basic mathematical skills required to calculate percentages, total program hours, decipher ratings reports and other calculations
• Strong ability to problem solve, find efficiencies in processes, and time management.
• Must have no limitations with regards to heavy typing and continuous viewing of computer and television monitors.
• This job does not require much moving about the office and is reliant on long hours at a desk/workstation.
