Multinational company, located in Jebel Ali, is looking for a Marketing Assistant & Technical Marketing Writer.

Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and functionally to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Assistant & Technical Marketing Writer is responsible for supporting our company’s Marketing & Sales activities. The role will often involve matters of a confidential nature. You will be helping the organization achieve our accelerated growth plan. You will have a hands-on, proactive and responsible approach. You will be intensely results focused and driven to perform in a constantly changing environment. As this is an international company, working long or unusual hours to accommodate time differences around the globe will be frequent.

Responsibilities:
• Produce various marketing materials such product datasheets, sales presentations, blog entries, in-depth articles, data reports and marketing kits about the company’s products and services.
• Research new and existing markets for the company’s services
• Produce reports on the researched markets
• Coordinate with global/regional marketing and sales groups within the company to understand their marketing needs
• Prepare tenders and commercial proposals, and assist in tracking them
• Coordinate and attend special events, like trade shows, as requested
• File reports in an appropriate manner
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested

Skills

• College degree (preferably in Marketing, Communications, or the Arts)
• Strong creative writing skills in English with at least 3 years’ experience in writing marketing collaterals (required); strong technical writing skills in English (an advantage)
• English proficiency (required)
• Solid experience in leading/being part of a team that formulates and executes marketing strategies
• Project management experience with strong coordination skills a plus
• Creativity and ability to express ideas with confidence
• Ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
• Good organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
