Five Major Wins for Auto Maker Including a Top Global Honour

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 01 February, 2015: Nissan wrapped up 2014 with more prestigious global awards to add to the year’s bulging trophy showcase, the latest being the highly-regarded Cristals.

Nissan Middle East is the global leader in the Cristal Automotive Media category 2014. Nissan has also become the most awarded automotive brand in the Global Cristal awards for last year while Nissan Middle East garnered more of the awards than any other Nissan office world-wide.

The Cristal awards reward the year’s best creations for the different types of media, and are judged by mixed international jurors comprising agencies and advertisers. The Cristal Awards were the culmination of the Cristal Festival that took place in Courchevel, France from December 16-20.

Nissan was presented with five awards at the event. They were: Jadidha & Actionha Silver – Media – Best Use of Events; Renewing the Bond Silver – Media – Automotive/Motorbike; GT Academy 2 Bronze – Media – Automotive/Motorbike; G-Force Bronze – Consumer Marketing – Best Use of Ambient in a Promotional Campaign; and Accidental Text Drive Bronze – Design – Design Craft Typography

The Cristal Festival was created in 2001 with the aim of bringing together professionals of the advertising and creative world. Leading agencies, advertisers, producers, directors, media, market research companies, journalists, TV producers take part in a wide variety areas. It has become a ‘must attend’ event for the communications world as the year draws to a close with more than 1100 delegates attending.

The Cristal Awards cap a stellar year for the Japanese automaker in regional and international recognition. Kew awards received in 2014 include: Interband – Top Global Green Brands; Effie Awards – Most Effective Automotive Brand in the Middle East; Interband – Best Global Brands for 2014; CDP Global 500 Climate Change Report – 100A; and Effie Awards – Most Awarded Automotive Company.
