Prague, 1.3.2012 – On 25th and 26th April, the inovators in the field of advertising are meeting in Prague for the third PIAF festival. Among key speakers are Gideon Amichay, Jean-Marie Dru (TBWA), Jonathan Bauer (Droga5), and Hans-Christian Schwingen (Deutsche Telekom). The leaders of the industry will share their working techniques during workshops and presentations. The conference program follows the pattern of PIAF contest categories, from “creative branding”, to “creative idea” and “art of delivery”.
“These days, creative has become a commodity. Everybody is doing creative things. But the place we have to aspire to is innovation. Innovation is the key to success in the new world,” claims Gideon Amichay, the 2011 PIAF Grand Prix winner. In his speach, he will focus on the working method of “innovation meeting”, which led to numerous creative awards of his agency Shalmor Avnon Amichay, Tel Aviv. Gideon believes, that creating the right atmosphere to foster innovation is crucial in any organisation.
Few methods have proven more effective in recent crisis years than TBWA´s “disruption”. Jean-Marie Dru will explain, how to “break rules and shake up the marketplace” in today´s situation. Working in advertising over the last 40 years, Jean-Marie is widely recognised as one of the most inspiring thinkers and authors in the field. Hans-Christian Schwingen will share 15 tips on how to be successful in a complex matrix organization. In recent years as head of marketing of Deutsche Telecom, he managed to change the T-Mobile brand towards the emotional “life´s for sharing” concept. He will explain, why it is important to assert empowerment, accelerate evangelization and evidence brand success as early as possible. Jonathan Bauer, as the head of strategy at Droga5 USA,will look at brands creating culture that consumers actually seek. He continuosly leads clients beyond traditional marketing and into content creation, new product development and social causes. Johnny will also share his experiences from his “Vision Labs” program supporting and integrating talents from technology and art into the agency.
PIAF conference is full of case studies of innovative brands presented by global marketers or agencies such as Absolut Vodka (Sebastian Billing), Rom (Kandia Dulce), Intel (Amsterdam Worldwide), Mini (BSUR), O2 (VCCP London) and others. The audience will also be inspired by speakers outside the advertising community such as the manager of scientific communities Jeff Medeiros or Graham Walker, expert on the Rock Paper Scissors game.
