Our client is currently seeking to recruit a Product Engineer -Security TechnicianThis role will make a significant contribution to the fast growing company's Security Service and Support. This is a technical function that will work closely with the Product Specialist to enable Repairs and service to all Security hardware Handle warranty and Dead on Arrival (DOA) After sales technical support Technical Competencies required Ability to repair PC board up to component level Knowledge of schematics Service, repair and the ability to do preventative maintenance Competency in firmware upgrading of hardware knowledge of IP networking (CISCO certification an added advantage) LAN configuration Server installation and configuration Infocomm CTS certification Pro AV project experience with an understanding of video technology Key Activities and Responsibilities Work closely with Product Specialist for Security Solutions to develop the local repair service centre Devise a system for warranty exchangereplacement using surplus stock Record keeping using the company's Remedy software Prepare course material and conduct training for dealers, system integrators, end users Assist Product Specialist in technical queries and resolution After sales service support for the company's Hardware, IT hardware and Security software
