– Estimates quantity of materials and cost
– Estimates person-hours needed for production and total labour cost
– Prepares sketches showing style, shape, size and general appearance of products
– Provides detailed design of furnishings and cabinets
– Undertakes office and shop designing showing good use of space for furniture, and accessories.
– Assists in producing technical drawings, schematic diagrams and reports of products to communicate production details to cabinet makers on the shop floor.
– Assists in communicating with clients to assess what they want and need.
– Provide specific advice to clients on factors affecting planning interior

Skills

• 3+ years experience in similar position.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
• Excellent communication skills.
• English written and speaking.
• Computer literate.
