Responsibilities:
- Develop and design space planning concepts and generate program documents.
- Participate in selection of finishes and specifications
- Provide project team coordination for the finished plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction
- Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
- Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples
- Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination
- Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs
Skills
- 5-10 years of relevant experience as an interior designer with a broad background in retail store educational, offices, housing and other interiors.
- Strong knowledge of the design process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materials
• Working knowledge of interior design or space planning, renovations, new layouts, flair for color, and lighting, etc.
- Knowledge of fashion furniture trends and styles.
- Outstanding graphic presentation skills
- Knowledge of Sketch Up required; AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, 3-D Studio Max & Animation is preferred
- Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills
- Should be able to come up with creative concepts in a timely manner.
• Mature understanding of drafting and design principles.
• A willingness to work long hours, often under pressure.
• Considerable knowledge of the assessment of proposals and specifications for interior design work.
• Good presentation skills.
Candidate must reside or have transferable residency in Saudi Arabia.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from reputed university
