The Role
This Multinational, Industry leading, Chemicals Company is looking for a Public Affairs Manager based out of Dubai looking after the Middle East and African region.
The Public Affairs Manager will be responsible for strategic planning and executive/shareholder communications. They will also play a large role in corporate social responsibility. They will be based out of Dubai but looking primarily after Africa, reporting into the Public Affairs Leader. They must be strategic as well as creative, involving stakeholders in a variety of events. They will interact with government officials, the media, internal and external stakeholders to promote the brand and develop strategy. They will be responsible for drafting speeches, press releases, articles, and web based publications.
Requirements
• 6-10 years’ experience in PR or Media Relations
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, PR or Mass Communications
• Fluent in English and French, speaking Arabic as well is preferable
• Ability to travel 25% of time
