Rado is the Official Timekeeper of the BNP Paribas Showdown starring Andy Murray

(Lengnau, Switzerland – February 2014) – On Monday March 3rd 2014 the stage is set for the tennis showdown to end all showdowns as tennis superstar and Rado brand ambassador Andy Murray faces the current world number two at legendary New York City venue Madison Square Garden.

The BNP Paribas Showdown has become a key fixture in the sporting calendar since it was first played 7 years ago and it always attracts the biggest names in tennis. For the first time in 2014 Rado is the Official Timekeeper of the event, which takes place on World Tennis Day. Official timing systems will be represented by corner clocks in the shape of the Rado HyperChrome on court which will time every last second of this nail-biting thriller.

Also on the bill at Madison Square Garden is a doubles match that tennis fans will be desperate to get a glimpse of as the best doubles partnership ever – the Bryan brothers – take on the legendary McEnroe brothers.
