Season 2 of Hareem Al Sultan kicks off on Zee Alwan

Dubai, UAE; May 20, 2013: The second season of the most sought-after television series, Hareem Al Sultan, will make its on-screen appearance on May 28, 2013, on Zee Alwan, the entertainment channel aimed at Arab family audiences by offering an array of Arabic, Turkish and hugely popular Indian TV serials dubbed in Arabic.

Flagging off directly after the end of Season 1, the next season continues to shine the light on the life of ‘Suleiman the Magnificent,’ and his role as a political and military leader in driving the position of the Ottoman Empire to the peak of its glory.

In the second season, Hareem Al Sultan will also place emphasis on the expansion of Sultan Suleiman’s empire, while bringing personal vignettes from his life, wives, and love affair in the palace, to the centrestage.

The series will bring betrayal to the centrestage with Viktoria’s and Ibrahim’s failed attempt of murdering Sultan Suleiman, after learning of their connection in the Ukraine. The result is a severed relationship between the Sultan and Ibrahim. Simultaneously, Sultan Suleiman embarks on a mission to take over Hungary, when he learns that his wife is pregnant, but is likely to endure a miscarriage.

Regardless of the situation, the show continues to shine the light on Sultan Suleiman’s character, which despite all temptations, is not compromised, underscoring how his decisions were unaffected by the beauty of the women around him.

With strife and courage that resonate in the Arab society, the second part of the series promises a season of obstacles and triumphs for the protagonist, redefining the home-entertainment experience.

With all four seasons screening back-to-back on Zee Alwan, audiences will be able to watch the life and times of Sultan Suleiman unravel, covering aspects of his love and married life, and his trials, shedding light on a behind-the-scenes understanding of one of history’s most prominent kingdoms and the 46-year long reign of the king.

Audiences can watch back-to-back seasons of Hareem Al Sultan from Saturday to Wednesday, at 10pm KSA time, with a repeat the next day at 5pm, on Zee Alwan, which is available through frequency 12417 on Nilesat and 12111 Arabsat.
