Starlink, Qatar’s premium communications and entertainment retail and logistics business, has announced that it will be selling Blackberry’s latest handset, the Blackberry Curve 9360, from 24 October.
The new Curve is slim, stylish and ergonomically designed with a wide 2.4″ screen, iconic QWERTY keyboard for fast, accurate typing and an optical trackpad for easy, one-handed navigation.
The 9360 supports the new faster and more powerful BlackBerry 7 OS and features a range of powerful hardware enhancements including more memory and an upgraded processor and display
GPS and Wi-Fi support are also included, as well as a 5 megapixel camera with flash and video recording. The micro SD / SDHC slot supports up to 32 GB memory cards for additional media storage.
Additional enhancements to this next generation BlackBerry include the latest version of BBMTM (BlackBerry Messenger) which now extends the real time BBM experience to a range of other apps, such as Foursquare, allowing users to easily interact with each other from within the ‘BBM connected’ app.
The 9360 also has built-in support for NFC (Near Field Communications). NFC is a new technology that is enabling many exciting capabilities, including the ability to pair accessories or read SmartPoster tags with a simple tap of the smartphone.
