We are searching for a Statistical Analyst to develop and promote an Internal Resource Center (IRC) facilitating the compilation and systematic analysis of the internal information (Data, reports, studies, procedures etc) at one place to have better access and utilization.
Also the role is to help generating relevant information by data mining and Business Intelligence from all concerned sources (Internal and External) to help organization plan appropriate strategies to achieve its objectives.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WOULD BE COMING FROM A RESEARCH AND STATISTICS BACKGROUND WITH STRONG ECONOMIC ANALYTICAL EXPERTISE 5-7 YEARS. CANDIDATE WORKING FOR UNIDO, UNDP, WORLD BANK, IMF OR REGIONAL SME SUPPORT FUNDS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY
1. Statistical Analysis & Management
• Data management, data computation, data mining and statistical analysis
• Business Intelligence; monitoring and collecting various data and reports to enable departments benefit from analytical reports
• Statistical response and predictive modeling to support SMEs
• Customer segmentation and retention/ acquisition analysis
• Develop internal library for SMEs divisions
• Website administration and maintenance for Data- Management
• Make recommendations for improvements to data management system and operations
• Timeliness, accuracy and completeness of data
• Integrity of data
• Access and uses of the data
2.Reporting
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual management reports.
• Develop and generate customized and adhoc reports as required
• Integrity of reporting
• Customized reports are fit for purpose
• Reporting timeline/ deadline, met
Skills
Technical skills:
• Demonstrated knowledge of corporate and SME banking concepts
• In-depth knowledge in application of MS access database and MS office suite
• Willingness to learn and assist with statistical modeling
• Fluency in Arabic and/ or English
Result Orientation:
• Highly developed analytical and numerical skills
• Diligent in meeting deadline; attention to detail/ accuracy
Communication & Relationship Management
• Willingness and ability to be a team player
Education
BSc or BA in Economics, Finance or related discipline. Masters is an advantage
