Just when you thought that print media is dead, just when you thought that the world has already shifted to online and digital platform, Newspaperswork, the marketing platform for all Belgian newspaper publishers, decided to fight back by showing the power of newspapers through this online video!
In the video, 3 advertisers from Coca-Cola, Telenet and BNP Paribas were offered a private driver to give them some time to enjoy reading their newspapers, and surprisingly they were not distracted by any of the unusual things that were happening just outside their car’s window, not a single bit, not once they decided to look outside the window to have a look at the city or make sure that the driver is going into the right direction, not at all, they were captivated by the paper
I’m not sure if they were being sarcastic or it’s a desperate shot by a dying medium, but it’s very comforting to see that the Middle East is not the only place where traditional media is trying to keep a grip in the world of advertising.
