Dubai, UAE; October 1, 2012: Zee Aflam, the first Pan-Arab 24-hour free-to-air Bollywood film channel dedicated to Arabic audiences, will be marking Saif Ali Khan’s cinematic charisma , while paying homage to both his birthday and his upcoming wedding with Kareena Kapoor, with a line-up of movies, showcasing some of his greatest roles.
Presenting an eclectic mix of comedy, romance, family values, and action, the selection of films include Siddharth Anand’s Ta Ra Rum Pum and Salaam Namaste, Imitiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal, and Sriram Raghavan’s Agent Vinod.
Placing an emphasis on the importance of family solidarity, Ta Ra Rum Pum, will be telecast on October 5; while Salaam Namaste, a reverse love story between Nick and Ambar, who leave India and meet in Australia, will be screened on October 12.
The Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan blockbuster, Love Aaj Kal, depicting an uncanny love story between Jai and Meera, will be telecast on October 19; while the action-pumped thriller, and Bollywood version of James Bond 007, starring Kareena Kapoor, Saif’s fiancé, Agent Vinod, will mark its first airing on October 26.
