Awards to recognise excellence in brand strategy and development

Dubai, 19th May 2015 – The Transform Awards Middle East North Africa, for exceptional new and evolving brand and rebrand campaigns, has revealed those organisations who have made the shortlist. The awards recognise and share brand development work in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Transform is unique in its mission to recognise brand development work that is well thought-out, effective, innovative and creative. This is the second time the event is taking place in the MENA region, an area with a booming economy and a growing interest in strategic branding.

This year, the awards programme saw entries from a greater number of countries in the region including the Unites Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Lebanon. Shortlisted companies include Careem and North 55, GGICO Properties and MBLM and National Bank of Oman and Bellwether for ‘Best rebrand of a digital property’ and Abdul Latif Jameel and Siegel+Gale, Al Yuam and Bellwether, Asser Investments and Bellwether, Batelco and Unisono, GO Telecommunications and Bellwether and Horizon & Co and Bellwether for ‘Best brand evolution’.

The most inspired and innovative project, as voted for by the Transform MENA judges, will receive the most prestigious award of the night, the Grand Prix.

Liz Foggitt, publishing and events manager, says “We are proud to bring the Transform Awards to the MENA region once again to celebrate the growing branding industry and the superb work being done. It’s always a pleasure learning about the nuances of branding and communications in different cultures and some of the work is of an exceptionally high standard.”

The global Transform awards began in Europe six years ago. The awards have now expanded to both the MENA, Asia-Pacific regions and for the first time this year will be taking place in North America. The programme provides the inspiration for a global brand development magazine, Transform magazine. The growth of the awards reflect global corporations’ growing investment in strong brand strategies.

The award winners will be announced at a ceremony on 2 June 2015 at The Address Hotel Dubai Marina. The awards will follow the Middle East Brand Summit, an event delving into the stories of companies excelling in their brand and marketing communications. If you would like to attend either event you can contact Liz Foggitt via [email protected] or by calling +44 20 7998 6263.
