Translator | Dubai
Our client, a leading publishing firm across the Middle East, is looking to recruit an Arabic translator for their expanding regional team. The business has grown exponentially over the last 3 years and is looking to carry on this aggressive expansion to stay ahead of competition.
Based in Dubai and reporting to the Editor, you will need to be an Arabic native speaker with the ability to translate, edit and proof English to Arabic and vice versa. You will be working closely with sub editors, editors, news editors and director on translations. You must possess an understanding of trade press and previous experience in a PR agency or Arabic copywriting environment is a must. You should also have completed a degree in Translation.
Skills
As the successful candidate you will be someone who is self motivated with 1 – 3 years experience in translating editorial work. You must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to people at all level. Your written English and Arabic must be exceptional.
