Web Developer/Programmer | Beirut, Lebanon
The selected candidate will be part of growing team charged with the design, development, maintenance, and improvements to system software and applications for special systems. They will design, build, test, publish, and maintain web sites and integrate with content management and collaboration systems/sites such as SharePoint. They will also coordinate the creation and collection of necessary technology components and integrate them into a coherent web site design, consult with stakeholders to gather and define site requirements and analyze requirements to determine the most effective web technologies to satisfy stakeholder needs, design graphics such as logos for web pages, design, test, enhance, integrate, and maintain SharePoint sites tailored for interaction and collaboration of division teams and assist software developers with platform independent initiatives for software applications.
General Requirements:
1) Three years experience designing and maintaining web sites using standard web programming technologies such as HTML/XHTML/DHTML, CSS, ASP.NET, SQL, and XML
2) Two years experience designing and maintaining Microsoft SharePoint sites
3) Experience optimizing web sites and web portals using standard web technologies
4) Experience with Web authoring software tools such as SharePoint Designer, COLDFUSHION, and DREAMWEAVER
5) Experience with Graphic Design Software, such as Photoshop or Fireworks, and multimedia development tools
6) Experience with Web Server Management software
7) Experience with java script libraries
8) Experience with AJAX and push technologies
Experience with collaboration tools and experience designing, coding, testing and debugging software written in C, C++, or JAVA is also desired.
