Prague, May 27th 2015 – The International Advertising Festival PIAF ended with the awards ceremony and the screening of winning campaigns. The jury, composed of leading creatives and marketers from around the world, gave out 49 prizes to agencies from ten countries, from Colombia to the United Arab Emirates. The festival was held in Prague for the sixth time and was accompanied by a two-day international conference.
The jury chairman Ramzi Moutran, Creative Director at the regional agency MEMAC Ogilvy in Dubai, set a high level for award winners. It is especially gratifying for campaigns from the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic has won a total of fifteen awards. The complete list of winners is in the attachment.
“It’s a very encouraging result for Czech commercial communications. It’s not just about the awards, but at this conference we saw numerous pieces through which local independent agencies managed to draw the interest of large companies abroad, “says Marek Hlavica, Director of PIAF.
The International Advertising Festival in Prague is the largest event of its kind in Central Europe. Every year, about 30 mostly foreign speakers take part in it. The main theme of the festival is innovation in commercial communications and marketing. The festival traditionally takes place in late May at Prague’s National Gallery – in the Trade Fair Palace, and is attended by almost four hundred experts in marketing and communication.
