Tron Legacy Movie and Gaming Night

Last night I was invited to a special movie night for the upcoming 3D Sci-fi blockbuster Tron Legacy, the movie will be released on December 17th, and is expected to hit theaters in the UAE on December 23rd. I’m not big on Sci-fi movies, well the Matrix is of course an exception, but the 3D technology used for the new Tron Legacy is just amazing, it’s way better than Avatar, and what makes it even more amazing is the visual effects, the light lines around characters outfits, the cars and the motorcycles make it really super, clean, and out of this world, of course this style of clothing and ambiance was totally reflected in the venue at the Reel Cinemas in Dubai Mall.

During the night I had the chance to play the 3D game that was built around the movie, that was a new experience to me, never played a 3D game before, it really puts you in the movie. The night was organized by Nokia to introduce their new N8, an amazing smart phone that will be reviewed soon here on this website, the phone is loaded with features, and comes with 2 trailers and a behind-the-scenes clip to put you in the mood for an atmosphere that is beyond the imagination.

After that we ended the night with the screening of a 23-minute 3D trailer of the movie, it was really cool! Here is the official trailer I found on YouTube:
