The Role
Our client, a business intelligence company, is seeking an Energy & Industry Reporter in Dubai to deliver exclusive, expert and timely editorial content and trend opinions on these sectors online and offline.
Reporting to the News Editor, your main responsibilities in this role will include:
• Writing expert opinion pieces on a given field or sector that challenge and stimulate readers
• Assisting the sector editor and controlling the content sector pages online ensuring highest standards maintained
• Working with the team in Mumbai to ensure that its data is accurate and timely
• Initiating news stories in conjunction with the News Editor/ Editor
• Writing features and other analysis stories; and
• Acting as an ambassador for the business by chairing at functions/exhibitions/events where appropriate
