David Guetta Returns to the Capital as The World’s Number One DJ

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: 15 January, 2012: FLASH Entertainment today announced that that global superstar DJ David Guetta would be making his long-awaited return to Abu Dhabi, as part of what is shaping up to be an exciting 2012 year of entertainment.

David Guetta will perform on Friday, 2nd March, returning as the world’s number one DJ, after being voted DJ Magazine’s best DJ in 2011. He will be bringing his latest international smash hits with some of the most recognized names in music, from Nicki Minaj, Sia, Usher, Taio Cruz & Ludacris, Flo Rida, to Snoop Dogg and Kelly Rowland.

The two-time Grammy Award-winning DJ will hit the stage for his two-hour set at midnight, heating up the Yas Arena, Yas Island, on one of the coolest evenings of the year. Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, 17th of January, from www.thinkflash.ae.

David Guetta has been adored on the club scene for two decades. His music came to the attention of the masses following the release of his 2009 multi-platinum album One love; it featured the Grammy Award-winning hit “When Love Takes Over” with Kelly Rowland. The album sold over three million copies and 15 million singles worldwide.

Tracks from his fifth studio album, released in August 2011; Nothing But The Beat, will no doubt feature in his set at the Yas Arena with clubbers dancing to the beat of ‘Where Them Girls At’, ‘Little Bad Girl’ and ‘Without You’, “Titanium” and the next release,”Turn Me On” ft Nicki Minaj. His album may be a pop-smash but his DJ sets go deeper so expect them mixed in his signature style with electronic tracks of his own and other producers he supports. Nothing But The Beat is a double album with one disc pure beats. It includes tracks with Afrojack and Avicii but is essentially Guetta’s darker, dirtier side.

Following the success of her hit with David Guetta, Kelly Rowland said she hoped to work with French producer/DJ on future projects while Akon described Guetta as an ‘incredible producer’ following the success of their club anthem ‘Sexy Chick’.
He has also produced many international smash hits with some of the most recognized names in music, from Black Eyed Peas I Gotta Feeling and Flo Rida Club Cant Handle Me.
