Dubai is the most popular Arab city on facebook with close to 650,000 fans of different pages, Beirut came second with more than 414,000 fans, followed by Casablanca with more than 232,000 fans, Jerusalem with more than 211,000 fans, and Jeddah in the fifth place with more than 185,000 fans.
The number of fans each city has attracted on facebook is the collective number of fans of several pages related to that city, the index doesn’t cover groups or pages dedicated to bands and events named after these cities, landmarks, outlets or areas located in these cities.
On the 6th spot came Amman with 115,059 fans, followed by Mecca with 111,185 fans, Madinah with 98,107. 9th came Abu Dhabi with 66,992, and Cairo on the 10th spot with 63,508.
