Emirates Post Group subsidiary EDC and Masar Printing and Publishing explore business opportunities
News — By Samer Marzouq on July 13, 2010 at 7:12 pmA delegation from Masar Printing and Publishing, part of Dubai Media Incorporated, visited Electronic Documents Centre (EDC), a subsidiary of Emirates Post Group, to discuss mutual business opportunities and study EDC’s expertise in mail fulfillment and card personalization services.
The delegation consisted of Jamal Kahoor, Commercial Director of Masar, and Hamid Maammer, Client Servicing Manager, Masar.
The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Abdulla Al Hammadi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of EDC, Mr. Abdul Qadir, member of the Board Member, and Mr. Obaid Al Qatami, Acting Chief Operating Officer (COO) of EDC.
The two sides explored potential areas of cooperation. The delegation toured EDC premises and was briefed on the card personalization division and the mail fulfillment section which handles the printing and mailing of invoices and account statements of companies from the financial, telecommunication, health and services sectors.
EDC, set up in 2002, handles data printing and mailing requirements of large companies. EDC has been developed as a hi-tech one-stop shop that automates the entire chain from printing to enveloping to mailing, in a secure environment, enabling its clients to concentrate on their core business.
