The job of Experienced Sanitary ware Salesperson at Jacob Sardini Company is described as:
Maintaining, growing, and initiating business relationships with contractors, procurement companies, engineering firms and private clients through personal visits, telephone conversations, and other forms of media. Requires a very high level of customer service and personal attention by the aforementioned customer base, including: working by the client’s agenda; being readily accessible to the client; and troubleshooting project problems, all while maintaining customer service levels. Must be able to effectively: solicit bid documents; read and understand specifications; solicit pricing from vendors; and formulate our bid package to be returned to the client. Needs a working knowledge of email, Microsoft Excel, Adobe, and other related programs. Must be able to set priorities and manage time wisely.
DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Detail knowledge of sanitary ware
Solicit new businesses
Become familiar with the businesses and individuals within those businesses
Maintaining business relationships with clients:
Communicate extensively via telephone with key individuals
Arrange visits to job sites and the client’s place of business
Socialize with clients in person as needed
Sustaining a high level of customer service:
Perform work tasks according to the client’s agenda
Respond quickly to customer inquiries and other communications
Troubleshoot any business-related problems
Follow-up with clients to ensure they are satisfied
Managing requests for quotes:
Create a spreadsheet to keep track of the job
Overseeing all submittals:
Create and/or examine drawings for correct specifications
Write and/or review manuals for correct job-relevant information
Submit the materials to the client in a timely manner
Ability to set priorities and manage time wisely
Ability to multi-task different open bids
Skill in positive customer service attitude
Organizational skills
