Fifth Ring wins digital media contract with Ajman

Fifth Ring, one of the region’s leading integrated communications agencies, has been awarded a contract by the Ajman government’s Culture and Media Department for the development of its new website.

Having just completed the department’s new branding, creating a fresh, modern yet culturally encompassing look and feel, Fifth Ring has been selected to develop the new website, which is to provide an interactive portal for regional and international visitors to find out about the emirate’s culture and the tourism and leisure opportunities.

Faisal Ahmed Al Nuaimi, deputy general manager of the Ajman Culture and Media Department, said:
“The agreement came within the framework of the development plans adopted by the department to uphold the values of the promotion of knowledge between different categories of clientele, and create an attractive environment for culture, media, tourism and public heritage of the Emirate of Ajman, stressing that these sectors should be promoted in new and innovative ways.”

He added, “The number of internet users in the world has surpassed one billion people, including around 40 million in the Arab world. The UAE registered the highest prevalence of Arab internet users, crossing 50% of the total population, which requires better servicing.”

Clif Collier, group managing director of Fifth Ring, looks forward to strengthening the company’s partnership with the Ajman Culture and Media Department, he said, “Having launched the Department of Culture and Media’s new brand, it is fantastic to be selected to continue with the roll out of the department’s vision to increase awareness of the emirate’s culture and tourism offerings. The web site will launch in both Arabic and English, with blogs, e-forums and a three dimensional tour of the Ajman Museum.”

Digital media is just one of Fifth Ring’s communications specialties, offering PR, advertising, brand & strategy development, and design & production.
