Fox Movies brings to you live and exclusive Awards Season coverage in 2013!

The 85th Academy Awards and the British Academy for Film and Television Arts (BAFTAs) Awards will be brought live and exclusive to the region only on Fox Movies.

Dubai, UAE, 29 January 2012 – With the 2013 Movie Awards Season in full swing, Fox Movies continues to bring Hollywood’s most prestigious awards to the region. Cinema’s biggest night, the 85th Academy Awards, take place on 24th February, and will air live from 1 am KSA/2am UAE for the fifth consecutive year on Fox Movies. –Fox Movies is the channel in the region with exclusive rights to the glamorous event. Fox Movies Shines in Gold this Movie Awards Season, with a slew of other high profile live and exclusive award ceremonies scheduled to air, including the BAFTA Awards on 10 February at midnight KSA/ 1am UAE.

Kicking off the New Year with a bang, the channel obtained exclusive rights to air live coverage of the BAFTA Awards as well as the 18th annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards. The Critics’ Choice Movie Awards aired live and exclusive on Fox Movies on 10 January at 4 ; the night’s big winners include the film Argo, which garnered the award for Best Picture. Lincoln star Daniel Day-Lewis won the Best Actor honor, while the Best Actress award was given to Zero Dark Thirty’s Jessica Chastain.

With the 85th Academy Awards set to cap off an incredible award season on 24 February, Fox Movie viewers are guaranteed live and exclusive insight into the crème de la crème of cinematic talent this new year.

The BAFTA Awards airs live for the first time and exclusive on Fox Movies on 10 February at 12:30 am KSA and the 85th Academy Awards will air live and exclusive on Fox Movies on 24 February at 1am KSA.
