The Role
Purpose
• To work with the Group General Manager, Corporate Affairs to deliver the corporate affairs activities of the Group with the objective of effectively communicating the Group’s key messages to its key internal and external stakeholders in a timely and consistent manner.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the development, implementation and overall management of the internal and extermal communications program in order to effectively communicate the Group’s operating objectives, activities and achievements to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assists with media and issues management for the Group in order to protect and enhance the Group’s reputation.
• Develops and implements a crisis management program in line with the Group’s requirements and ensure it remains up to date.
• Manages the development and production of internal and external newsletters.
• To assist and manage the day-to-day operations of the corporate affairs function
• Assists in the development of a new Group intranet
• Manages the Group’s website.
• Plans and executes the delivery of corporate and staff events and other team building activities as required.
