• Head of department role for a large GCC based Group

Oman, is known as the jewel of the GCC. With a booming oil and gas market and large infrastructure and structural developments underway in the country, many people are choosing Oman for their next career move. Our client, a leading regional producer of cement, and the biggest producer in Oman, and United Arab Emirates, is currently seeking a Head of Marketing and Business Intelligence to oversee all marketing, branding and PR activities for its operations in Oman and UAE.

Reporting directly to the CEO your responsibilities will include:
• Manage the development and execution of marketing strategies for the firm
• Manage all project-specific marketing campaigns for the group
• Conduct PR and corporate communications activities
• Gather and process internal and external market data
• Review and approve all marketing related service provided by external consultants to the group.
• Maintain information related to market analysis and geographical information related to the cement industry
• Analyse data and provide accurate demand forecasting and determine best price and strategies moving forward
• Perform benchmark analysis
• Provide support in the setting up of annual sales targets in coordination with other departments involved.

Requirements

Attributes we seek:
• MBA or Masters from a recognised university
• Bachelor degree in Marketing or Business Administration
• 10+ years working in internal audit within large organisations
• Strong background working within GCC based companies or cement related industries
• Excellent communication and creative ability
• Proven presentation and strategic thinking ability
