Introducing ‘Call To Pray’ application for BlackBerry Smartphones

Dubai, UAE – asgatech, a member of Teqneyat Group specialized in developing and delivering mobility solutions and mobile applications, today announced its latest application, ‘Call To Pray’, is now available on BlackBerry App World™.

The new ‘Call To Pray’ is an innovative software application from asgatech that uses a BlackBerry smartphone’s GPS to calculate prayer times and the direction of the Qibla based on the user’s location. It also provides access to a collection of morning and evening Azkar with a distinctive Hijri calendar.

Key features of the application include:
• Calculate prayer times for 1,000 cities in 200 countries
• Share prayer times via SMS, e-mail, Facebook and BBM™ (BlackBerry Messenger®)
• Use GPS to provide an exact Qibla direction or show the way to Mecca using BlackBerry Maps®
• Provide alerts up to 30 minutes before prayer time

The application is available in Arabic and English for all BlackBerry smartphones running BlackBerry OS (device software) 5.0 or higher, including the BlackBerry® Torch™ 9800, BlackBerry® Bold™ 9780 and BlackBerry® Curve™ 9300 smartphones.
