Arabic Product Manager | Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Objective:
Our client is an internationally recognised house hold name within the Pharmaceutical industry. Due to a recent restructure we are seeking the expertise of an experienced product manager to look after and service our clients in KSA. This role will be based on the road and working directly with one of our key distributors. This position is a new role due to an increase in sales throughout the KSA region. We are looking for a seasoned professional who has the ability to build and manage relationships with a can do attitude.

Main Responsibilities:
Lead the development of the implementation plans in KSA for the business.
Be the point of contact for the sales team to deliver all tools necessary for them to conduct their sales calls efficiently.
Support the key account team in developing and implementing growth strategies and plans.
Control of the advertising and promotion budgets.
Track sales figures, provide timely recommendations for corrective measures and investment opportunities.

Reporting to : Marketing Manager
Other interactions : External agencies – advertising etc and to the Group Head office in Dubai.

Duration : Permanent
Desired start date : Mid April 2010
Probation : 4 weeks
Working hours : Normal office hours (Saturday-Wednesday)
Travel requirements : Must be prepared to travel within Saudi Arabia and 25% of the time in Dubai.
Gross monthly base salary : Basic – $3,000 + $2,000 Housing & Car Allowance
Commission / Bonus : Discretionary bonus – based on individual and company performance.

Requirements
University qualifications : Master’s Degree in Management
Previous experience : 3-5 Years Experience within FMCG or Pharmaceuticals industry.
Specialist knowledge : A solid track record in product management with proven leadership, strong project management and excellent communication skills.
Strong marketing background.
Quick to learn and able to hit the ground running.
Other Skills : Good team player, excellent at building and maintaining relationships.
Not a quitter and a strong work ethic.
