Corporate Communications Manager | Rotana Holding Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Main purpose: To head the Corporate communications for Rotana in the Media industry.

External Communications:
• Support all ROTANA marketing activities by way of PR,
• Spearhead the launch of new content & projects,
• Promote, engage and supervise all activities aimed at improving ROTANA profile,
• Manage media relations,
• Manage customer intelligence, through
a. Data analysis
b. Data mining
c. Manage crisis and all related communication
• Coordinate and delegate coordination with all ROTANA channels and their key management,
Internal Relations, Communications & Processes:
• Plan, manage and control all PR activities and ensure flawless execution,
• Plan and review PR-related research,
• Oversee all business relationships with PR agencies, conference and exhibition organizers, and media owners,
• Lead establishment and maintenance of excellent relationship with government institutions, public, private bodies and the press,
• Departmental Structure and Staff: Plan and organize development, training and staff coaching and mentoring,
• Interview, hire, train and evaluate staff, when necessary, discipline and discharge subordinates. Ensure buy-in and understanding of departmental strategy by staff.
• Press / Public relations / Events management

Skills
• Masters Degree preferred,
• Minimum of 8 years experience in Journalism and Public Relations (and preferable Events Management),

Education
Communications, Journalism or a related field
